Cataracts

What Are Cataracts?

As we age, our natural lenses lose their clarity and result in cloudy vision, glare, difficulty seeing at night and problems reading fine print. Cataracts are the most common cause of vision loss in people over age 40, and are the principal cause of blindness in the world.

Treatment

Cataract surgery should be considered only when they have progressed enough to significantly impair your vision and affect your daily activities. This is a relatively simple, painless procedure and is very successful in restoring vision.  We'll work closely with your cataract surgeon to provide all pre- and post-operative care.
